I’m in Cartagena right now, getting ready to leave today by boat to Punto Faro on Múcura Island in the Caribbean. Was in Bogota a few days ago. Here are a few photos:
John Lamkin is an award-winning freelance travel journalist and photographer based in Taos, New Mexico USA. He also lives part-time in Oaxaca & Quintana Roo, Mexico. He is Executive Editor of Soul of Travel Magazine.
He was educated at Orange Coast College, the University of California at Los Angeles and the San Francisco Art Institute. He holds a Bachelors degree from Pacific States University.
John has also done copy writing, technical writing, and poetry.
He has been editor of FWT Magazine, Camerawork Quarterly, Music of the Spheres magazine and several newsletters.
He is owner of Paloma Blanca Press, a self-publishing consulting firm, and the editor of Soul of Travel online magazine.
John is readily available for assignment (commission) in the southwestern USA and Latin America and also other parts of the world with some lead time.
